On November 23, under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, an online meeting was held with the heads of Ukrainian diplomatic missions and institutions abroad on the provision of equipment and components for the restoration of Ukrainian energy facilities damaged as a result of the armed aggression of the russian federation.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Energy German Galushchenko and Chairman of the Board of NPC Ukrenergo Volodymyr Kudrytskyi.

The participants determined priorities for the supply of energy equipment from the partners to Ukraine, in particular for the repair of damaged infrastructure and ensuring operation of “Points of Invincibility”.

“The terrorist russia has once again demonstrated its essence to the world. Missile strikes on energy infrastructure. Emergency power cut-offs introduced throughout the country. This is a forced step to avoid accidents and imbalance of the system. Repair teams have already begun to restore the damaged infrastructure,” said Denys Shmyhal.

The Prime Minister informed that the European Parliament is launching an initiative “Generators of Hope”. In the near future, the EU plans to collect thousands of generators and other energy equipment for transfer to Ukraine.

The Head of Government instructed the Ministry of Energy to establish close coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the customs 24/7 to ensure that the energy equipment arrives in Ukraine quickly and smoothly.
