The Government has amended the procedure for maintaining the State Register of Property Rights to Immovable Property. According to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, this decision will make it possible to ensure the correct sale procedure and the correct registration of all information in the register.

"After the opening of the land market, farmers who have been working on the land for many years will receive the preemptive right to buy it. At the same time, all purchase and sale agreements will be checked for compliance with the law, "the Prime Minister said.

Denys Shmyhal instructed the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food to provide the necessary information so that people on the ground understand all the benefits of land reform.

The Head of Government noted that, in addition to opening the land market, it is important to develop a reclamation system, as hot weather constantly creates a danger of drought and crop loss for farmers.

"In this regard, the irrigation project in the southern regions is a priority of our Government and the line Ministry," Denys Shmyhal concluded.
