The Government is improving the eRobota grant programme for veteran-owned businesses. From now on, the grant will be used to pay for the lease of non-residential premises or land. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

According to the Head of Government, the amount of the grant will be more differentiated depending on the category of the recipient and the number of jobs to be created. In general, a veteran will have the opportunity to receive a maximum grant of UAH 1 million, while his or her family members will also receive up to UAH 500,000.

"Ukrainian business has demonstrated high adaptability to wartime conditions and has positive expectations for the future. That is why our goal is to facilitate its development to the fullest extent possible," said Denys Shmyhal.

Since the launch of the veteran component of the eRobota programme, grants worth UAH 59 million have already been approved for defenders and their families.
