Prime Minister: Government has updated the rules for determining construction costs

The Government has updated the rules for determining construction costs to make the calculation of the cost of work transparent, uniform for all, and based on real data. This is an important rule for all restoration activities following russian shelling.

"The Government has established a uniform approach to determining general production and administrative costs, as well as profits. Clear percentage benchmarks are being established: 10% for general production, 3% for administrative costs, and 15% for the contractor's profit. This simplifies planning and ensures equal conditions for different projects," said Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko following a Government session.

The approach to construction workers' wages is also being renewed — wages must comply with industry guarantees and may be increased in difficult conditions.

A database of prices for construction materials and a codifier of construction products are being created — tools that will allow market prices to be compared and overpricing to be avoided.

The updated rules will remain in force during martial law and for one year after its termination.
