Ukraine seeks to build a true strategic partnership with the United States of America based on common interests and mutual benefit. This was emphasized by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal during a meeting with representatives of leading American think tanks in Washington, DC.

"Ukraine must not just win the war - it must win peace," he said.

The Head of the Ukrainian Government emphasized that Ukraine was focusing on the current challenges and preparing for those that will arise after the war is over.

"russia will not stop its attempts to destabilize. That is why we are already discussing and forming a new architecture of resilience based on a strong army, development of the defense industry, technologies and deeper integration into the Western security system," said Denys Shmyhal.

According to him, the meeting's participants discussed the concept of a "Marshall Plan" for Ukraine in the context of not just restoring the past, but building a new type of economy: with a focus on innovation, digitalization, robotization, and productivity growth.

"It should be an economy integrated into global value chains," the Prime Minister emphasized.

In addition, in the course of the dialog with American analysts, the parties discussed important topics of reforms and opportunities for systemic change.

"The path to European Union membership remains our key guideline in this process," emphasized Denys Shmyhal.

He emphasized the importance of these meetings and thanked everyone who joined the conversation, as well as everyone who supports our country.

"Together we are capable of implementing the largest post-war recovery project in Europe - and making it mutually beneficial for both Ukraine and its partners," the Prime Minister said.
