Priorities of the 2023 state budget: maintaining macro-financial stability, financing of the Armed Forces, support of people, says Prime Minister

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal chaired a meeting with the participation of Minister of Finance Serhii Marchenko and representatives of the Ministry of Finance regarding the main directions of the draft state budget of wartime.

The Head of Government emphasized that the priorities of the state budget for 2023 include maintaining of macro-financial stability, financing of the Armed Forces and support of the Ukrainian people.

"We are planning the draft budget taking into account the requirements of wartime: preservation of basic military and social expenditures, creation of the Operational Recovery Fund, continuation of economic stimulation programs," said Denys Shmyhal.

The Prime Minister tasked the Ministry of Finance to analyse the budget expenditures, especially those related to state authorities.
