Ukraine works with international partners to maintain financial stability within the state. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal announced at a media conference on September 14, it is planned to attract international financial aid and issue military bonds to cover the deficit of the state budget next year.

"These are two sources of budget revenues, in addition to tax and customs returns, we can see next year," the Head of Government noted.

Denys Shmyhal has emphasized that currently there are three financial partners our state actively cooperates with: the International Monetary Fund, the European Union, and the United States. In particular, joint work is already underway with the IMF on the program for next year.

"Yesterday, the President of Ukraine had a conversation with the Fund’s Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva. The IMF has agreed to allocate another USD 1.4 billion in funding to Ukraine. Just as it was at the beginning of the war. We reached accord that we would prolong our work with the IMF to launch a new special program next year," the Head of Government told.

Moreover, Denys Shmyhal stressed on fruitful meetings held with the leadership of the European Commission last week: "We agreed on the aid to the tune of EUR 8 billion to be transferred to Ukraine this year: EUR 5 billion - by the end of September, we expect EUR 3 billion in the form of a grant in late October - early November".

The Prime Minister reminded, among other things, of the initiative of the U.S. President to allocate additional support to our state in the amount of USD 11.7 billion.

"We understand that having such support from the United States, and assistance from the European Union, we will pass this year stably," said Denys Shmyhal and added that next year all social obligations of the state would be fully met.
