National security and European integration will be the main vectors of the Recovery Plan of Ukraine announced the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal at a joint press conference with the President of Switzerland Ignazio Cassis on the outcomes of the International Ukraine Recovery Conference in Lugano.

"Ukraine, together with our partners, has launched a major discussion of the future Reconstruction Plan after the end of the war. This is a landmark that brings Ukrainians great hope and a clear message to our partners that we will win and restore our country. And it is crucial to prepare for this here and now," stressed Denys Shmyhal.

According to the Prime Minister, the strategic frameworks of the Recovery Plan, developed by the Government in synergy with experts, were presented at the Conference in Lugano. They contain 24 directions. National security and European integration are the main vectors of the plan, while digitalization and the green course permeate through all the projects.

The Head of Government added, a number of sessions also took place within the framework of the Conference in Lugano. In particular, a parliamentary discussion panel, panels on economic recovery, transformation of the economy of Ukraine, a panel dedicated to human capital, etc.

"Moreover, a security meeting was held with all heads of delegations. Together with Mr. President of Switzerland, we held a multilateral dialogue with the heads of the European Union, the leaders of the EU countries, and our partners about how security is connected nowadays with the recovery of Ukraine and how the security of Ukraine is connected with the security of Europe," noted Denys Shmyhal.

Apart from that, a number of important bilateral and multilateral meetings took place within the framework of the visit of the Prime Minister of Ukraine to Lugano.
