The Diia app has crossed the mark of 21 million unique users. The Diia app now offers 24 documents and more than 30 services. At the same time, the team is working on more than 100 services that simplify the lives of Ukrainians and change their interaction with the state.
“Diia has already become pop culture and created a new experience of interaction with the state. This is confirmed by 21 million users who use Diia in various life situations – from buying a car to starting a business. Since then, we have launched 30+ services in the app, over 125+ on the portal, and reengineered many processes. For Ukrainians, digital documents in Diia have become more important than paper documents, and public services are already being designed using the digital-first approach. We are grateful to everyone who uses Diia and all the benefits of a digital state,” said Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology Development and Minister of Digital Transformation.
In almost 5 years, Diia has evolved from a document app to a real state superapp. The app offers all the most popular documents – from passports and diplomas to driving licences and marriage certificates.
In Diia, Ukrainians can also go through the full cycle of marriage online, which is not available in any other country in the world; report damaged property after shelling using the eVidnovlennia programme; buy or sell a car in a few clicks; join units that deal with UAVs, etc.
Together with Diia, Ukrainians open bank accounts, sign documents, pick up parcels at the post office or buy theatre tickets. In addition, businesses are actively integrating Diia to improve their user experience. Thus, more than 15,000 government agencies and companies have already integrated Diia services.
The team of the Ministry of Digital Transformation is currently working on new revolutionary services that will soon be available in the app and on the Diia portal. These include display of weapons permits, eExcise, Diia.Signature for legal entities, multisharing, business services, and notification of communications problems.
