Last week, 321 entrepreneurs received loans under the Affordable Loans programme totalling UAH 1.2 billion. Since the beginning of 2024, banks have issued 2,100 loans to businesses worth almost UAH 9 billion. Since the launch of the programme in February 2020, 81,000 loans worth UAH 275 billion have been disbursed.

Since the beginning of 2024, entrepreneurs have taken out the largest number of loans to replenish working capital – for a total of UAH 4.2 billion. Banks issued UAH 2 billion of loans under the programme to processing companies, UAH 1.3 billion to businesses operating in the high-risk war zone, and UAH 1.3 million for investment projects.

The most frequent recipients of loans under the programme are companies operating in the following sectors:

• agriculture (48%);
• wholesale and retail trade (26%);
• processing industry (17%).

Among the regions, Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Kharkiv regions and the city of Kyiv are the leaders in terms of the amount of loan agreements concluded.

As of today, 45 banks participate in the programme, with Privatbank (36,900), Oschadbank (12,300) and Raiffeisen Bank Aval (5,400) disbursing the largest number of loans since the programme’s launch.
