Ukraine continues to implement important infrastructure projects within the framework of financing from the State Regional Development Fund (SRDF) with Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine being the main administrator of funds.

Therefore, the Ministry of Regional Development has already approved the financing for 131 projects on the development of an important sports infrastructure to the tune of almost UAH 1.3 billion.

"131 sports facilities will be funded this year in the regions of Ukraine at the expense of the State Regional Development Fund. This is a construction, reconstruction or overhaul of stadiums, sports palaces, swimming pools and other sports grounds. Today it is very significant to promote an active lifestyle for the Ukrainian population, especially in the regions to ensure comfortable and appropriate conditions for going in for sports, both for the youth and children as well as for adults. Therefore, I am very glad that this year, these modern and necessary projects will be implemented in the regions", said Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Lev Partskhaladze.

In the context of the regions, there are 4 projects in Vinnytsia, 1 project in Volyn, 5 in Dnipropetrovsk, 11 in Donetsk, 6 in Zhytomyr, 8 in Zakararpatia, 5 in Zaporizhia, 9 in Ivano-Frankivsk, 3 in Kyiv , 1 in Kirovograd, 8 in Lugansk, 8 in Lviv, 1 in Mykolaiv, 2 in Odessa, 3 in Poltava, 4 in Rivne, 8 in Sumy, 7 in Ternopil, 5 in Kharkiv , 10 in Kherson, 9 in Khmelnytsky, 3 in Cherkassy, 5 in Chernivtsi, 4 in Chernihiv regions and 1 in Kyiv.
