More than 1,150 applications submitted under the Tysiachovesna initiative

A total of 1,151 applications for funding cultural projects have been submitted under the Tysiachovesna initiative. The review process is still ongoing, so the number may increase further. The Ministry of Culture’s team will present the final results and analytical overview on 12 June, Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko announced.

Tysiachovesna is an initiative of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy aimed at supporting the development of contemporary Ukrainian culture.

Final pitching sessions will take place from 12 to 16 August, during which participants will present their projects to experts who will select the winners.

“It is inspiring to see so many applications and the determination of our people to create high-quality Ukrainian cultural content,” the Prime Minister said. “I wish all participants every success.”
