Rooting out corruption is an indispensable component in building strong Ukraine and further strengthening its positions  on the world economic map. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman in an interview with the Israeli newspaper Maariv.

"We have adopted the necessary legislation in recent years, the infrastructure of anticorruption bodies has been created. The Verkhovna Rada  of Ukraine has recently approved all decisions that would allow to launch the work of the High Anticorruption Court, the Head of Government said. - For my part, I did my utmost to ensure the adoption of the said decision. And now the Government is keen on working on creating organizational preconditions needed for the timely launch of the court’s work ".

Moreover, Volodymyr Groysman noted that the fight against corruption is, first of all, the eradication of the conditions for this phenomenon.  Among them are elimination of smuggling at the border,rooting out gray schemes in the gas sector, in the  medicines procurement,   allocation of funds for regional development, and the reimbursement of value added tax. The work being carried out in this direction is already yields results. Introduction of the ProZorro platform allowed to make the public procurement system transparent. The war on smugglers is gradually allows to free the border from undue influence.

"The war on smuggling was not announced yesterday, and not a month ago. For two consecutive years, we are implementing different  initiatives aimed to  make the border transparent for honest business. Gray imports are bringing discredit to the customs, but also to our industry. Therefore, we stand for a transparent procedures and  equal rules for all. My goal as the Prime Minister  to ensure the success of every businessman regardless if he is a  foreigner or Ukrainian and regardless of business occupation. The success of each entrepreneur is a success of the country. Ukraine welcomes everyone who is ready to work honestly, openly and for the benefit of his enterprise and  the whole country", the Head of Government underscored.
