The issue of the justified price of heating and hot water for the population is a matter of social justice and consumer protection. That is why it is a priority in the Government’s agenda and the priority in monitoring the implementation of Government decisions. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman while communicating with journalists in Poltava.

The PM reminded that at a recent meeting, the Government had presented the Fair Bill program, which provides for the establishment of a reasonable cost of 1 GCal of heating and 1 cubic meter of hot water at the level of UAH 1400 and about UAH 83, respectively. These indicators are the result of the calculations and analysis of the work of the district heating providers.

"All municipalities have to bring the cost of heating and water to a reasonable level before the heating season starts. This is a matter of social justice, and for me, as a social Prime Minister, it is of great significance. We will always protect people", stressed Volodymyr Groysman.
