An adequate response of the world to existing challenges is becoming the most urgent issue that needs to be addressed, claimed Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during a speech at the Kyiv Security Forum.

"Issues pertaining to appropriate perception of the situation and adequacy of the actions of the democratic world become the most important ones" , the Head of Government emphasized.

He cited statistics, according to which more than 20 thousand terrorist attacks have been committed in the world in the recent past. Daily shelling of Donbas cities is carried out  and the number of non-military losses is in the hundreds and thousands.

" Perhaps, Ukraine became the first country against which new weapons were used - military, economic, energy aggression as well as interference in internal affairs, the Prime Minister stressed, we have to stop it. We have to set far-reaching plans for the future. We should force the enemy to return to its border and to become part of a civilized world".

The Head of Government stressed that no one deprives the aggressor country of opportunity for civilized development, but recent years demonstrate country’s unwillingness to adhere to this way of development.

" I want to call on all: it’s time to open eyes and not to ignore problems. The time has come for qualitative actions aimed to stop invasion, to establish peace on the continent and to spread our values around the world. I believe in the victory of the democratic world and the defeat of totalitarianism", the Prime Minister underscored.
