First underground kindergarten opens in frontline Zaporizhzhia

The first underground kindergarten has opened in frontline Zaporizhzhia. Now 115 children will be able to learn, rest, and eat in a safe space throughout the day.
The standalone radiation shelter, covering more than 900 m², is designated for 140 people. The space is also accessible to children with special educational needs.
"Together with local authorities, we are working to create conditions for safe education amid the constant Russian threat, especially in frontline cities and communities," said Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergii Koretskyi.
