First Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Ivan Rusnak has held talks with European Defence Agency Chief Executive Mr Jorge Domecq.
The parties discussed the state and prospects of cooperation between the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence and European Defence Agency within the framework of the 2015 Administrative Arrangement, especially cooperation in identified areas such as the Single European Sky, Standardization, Training, and Logistics.
Mr Rusnak briefed the foreign delegation on the results of the ongoing defence reform and underscored Ukraine was fulfilling its obligations on its course to join the European Union and NATO.
"I commend your support for our aspirations and results", First Deputy Minister of Defence noted.
The meeting participants praised the progress in joint work over the past years since the signing the Arrangement in December 2015 and stressed the importance of a pragmatic approach to the implementation of current initiatives and development of the dialog, as well as confirmed the mutual interest to develop such cooperation.
