Additional energy equipment transferred to Mykolaiv communities for winter preparation: Sergii Koretskyi
Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergii Koretskyi announced the delivery of additional energy equipment to communities in the Mykolaiv region to enhance readiness for the autumn-winter period.
"We have transferred additional energy equipment to Mykolaiv communities ahead of winter. Twenty-seven transformers and other essential equipment were purchased with funds from a grant provided by the Government of Japan. This equipment will now be used in the framework of preparing Mykolaiv region for winter," said the Head of Government.
According to the Prime Minister, the experience of five winters under russian attacks on energy infrastructure has confirmed the importance of creating equipment reserves and ensuring the ability to quickly restore power supply.
"Reserves of equipment and the capacity for rapid restoration are a strategic necessity. Therefore, we will continue to seek additional opportunities to strengthen our resilience, especially in frontline regions," emphasized Sergii Koretskyi.
The Prime Minister also expressed gratitude to the Government of Japan for supporting Ukraine.
