October 22, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko chaired a meeting of the Ukrainian part of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Kuwaiti Commission on economic, technical and trade cooperation.
The meeting participants focused on preparations for the Fourth Joint Meeting of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Kuwaiti Commission, scheduled for November 6 - 8, 2018, in Kuwait.
Pavlo Rozenko, chairman of the Ukrainian part of the Intergovernmental Commission, noted that this year, considerable work had been done on preparing a joint meeting of the Commission, including in cooperation with the Kuwaiti side.
The Vice Prime Minister noted that Kuwait also has a great interest in building relations with Ukraine in the agrarian sector, energy, construction, healthcare, financial and other mutually beneficial areas of bilateral cooperation.
Pavlo Rozenko emphasized that on the outcomes of the 8 months of 2018, the trade turnover between the two states had increased almost 2.5 times. "The trend towards increased trade proves that, we have a mutual interest in cooperation with Kuwait and, as a result, a significant potential for cooperation which we should unlock", summed up Pavlo Rozenko.
