  • Update on the liquidation of the aftermath of the Kakhovka HPP dam blast as of 8:00 a.m.

    As of 8:00 a.m. on June 9, 2,336 people (including 120 children) have been evacuated from the flooded areas.

    563 people (including 28 children) were rescued. Psychological assistance was provided to 201 people. Nine evacuation centres have been set up. Since the start of the work, the Rescue Service has received 856 calls from citizens.

    According to preliminary data, a total of 32 settlements and 3,625 houses on the right bank of the Dnipro River have been flooded.

    Around 1,420 people and over 345 pieces of equipment are involved in the response activities, including 809 rescuers and 171 pieces of equipment and 45 watercraft from the SES.
