Day 555 of the russian full-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun.

Last night, the russian federation launched yet another missile strike on the territory of Ukraine. Information on the aftermath of this terrorist attack is currently being updated.

During the day of August 31, the enemy launched 1x missile and 44x air strikes, 70x MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. Unfortunately, the russian terrorist attacks have killed and wounded civilians. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were damaged.

The likelihood of missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains high.

During the day of August 31, there were more than 25x combat engagements.

Volyn and Polissya axes: no significant changes.

Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axes: the enemy launched an air strike in the vicinity of Kozacha Lopan (Kharkiv oblast), fired mortars and artillery shells at more than 20x settlements, including Sosnivka, Karpovychi (Chernihiv oblast), Seredyna-Buda, Volfyne, Romashkove, Shalyhyne, Nova Sloboda (Sumy oblast), Vovchansk, Khrypuny, Karaichne, Mala Vovcha, Bolohivka, and Budarky (Kharkiv oblast).

Kupyansk axis: the adversary launched an air strike in the vicinity of Kotlyarivka (Kharkiv oblast). The settlements of Borova, Kupyansk, and Kyslivka (Kharkiv oblast) came under artillery and mortar fire of the adversary.

Lyman axis: the adversary conducted unsuccessful offensives in the vicinities of Novojehorivka (Luhansk oblast). The invaders launched air strikes in the vicinities of Cherneshchyna (Kharkiv oblast), Novojehorivka, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), and Rai-Oleksandrivka (Donetsk oblast). The enemy fired artillery at more than 15x settlements, including Nevske, Bilohorivka, Tverdokhlibove (Luhansk oblast), Rozdolivka, Nykyforivka, Verkhnokamyanske, and Fedorivka (Donetsk oblast).

Bakhmut axis: the adversary launched air strikes in the vicinities of Bila Hora and New York (Donetsk oblast). More than 15x settlements, including Minkivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Druzhba, and Pivnichne (Donetsk oblast), suffered from enemy artillery shelling.

Avdiivka axis: the enemy fired artillery and mortars at the settlements of Oleksandropil, Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Sjeverne, Orlivka, and Pervomaiske (Donetsk oblast).

Maryinka axis: the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the russian offensive in the vicinity of Maryinka (Donetsk oblast). The adversary conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the vicinity of Novomykhailivka. russian forces launched an air strike in the vicinity of Krasnohorivka. The invaders fired artillery at the settlements of Krasnohorivka, Pobjeda, Maryinka, Kurakhove, Novomykhailivka Katerynivka, Kostyantynivka, and Antonivka (Donetsk oblast).

Shakhtarske axis: the enemy launched air strikes in the vicinities of Vuhledar and Staromaiorske (Donetsk oblast). The adversary fired artillery at the settlements of Vodyane, Vuhledar, Bohoyavlenka, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Blahodatne, and Urozhaine (Donetsk oblast).

Zaporizhzhia axis: the adversary launched air strikes in the vicinities of Novodanylivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, and Orikhiv (Zaporizhzhia oblast). More than 20x settlements suffered from enemy artillery shelling, including Novodarivka, Mali Shcherbaky, Olhivske, Chervone, Charivne, Hulyaipole, Lobkove, and Plavni (Zaporizhzhia oblast).

Kherson axis: the adversary launched air strikes in the vicinities of Mykolaivka, Olhivka (Kherson oblast), fired artillery and mortars at the settlements of Stanislav, Olhivka, Ponyativka, Veletenske, and Antonivka (Kherson oblast).

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct the offensive operation on Melitopol axis, consolidating their positions and conducting counter-battery fire.

During the day of August 31, Ukrainian Air Force launched 14x air strikes on the concentrations of troops and 4x air strikes on the anti-aircraft missile systems of the adversary.

During the day of August 31, the Ukrainian missile and artillery troops hit 1x artillery system at its firing position and 2x radar stations of the adversary.
