Day 500 of the full-scale russian military aggression continues.

The russian federation continues to kill the Ukrainian citizens, continues to ignore the laws and customs of war, and uses terror tactics.

During the day July 8, the russian occupiers launched another air and missile attack on the territory of Ukraine, using anti-aircraft guided missiles from air defense systems S-300 and Iranian strike UAV "Shahed". The Ukrainian Air Defense destroyed 5x strike UAVs of the "Shahed" type. Some of the UAVs hit industrial facilities and infrastructure facilities in Dnipropetrovsk and Kirovohrad Oblasts.

Also, the enemy carried out 34x air strikes, launched 42x MLRS attacks. In particular, 8x civilians were killed and 13x wounded as a result of shelling by the russian military at Liman.

The threat of missile and air strikes remains high across Ukraine.

The enemy is concentrating its main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Maryinka axes – more than 25x combat clashes took place during the day.

Volyn and Polissya axes: no significant changes detected. There are no signs of the formation of offensive groupings. Armed Forces of belarus perform tasks in the Ukrainian border.

Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axes: the enemy forces maintain an enhanced military presence. They carried out an airstrike in the Vovkivka area of the Sumy Oblast. The adversary shelled with mortars and artillery more than 25x settlements, such as Karpovichi, Chernihiv Oblast; Znob-Novgorodske, Bilopylla of the Sumy Oblast and Hatyshche, Vovchansk, Varvarivka of the Kharkiv Oblast.

Kupyansk axis: the enemy forces launched an airstrike at Novoyehorivka, Luhansk Oblast. It tried to advance in Berestovogt, Novoselivskyi and Stelmakhivka areas of Luhansk Oblast. Our soldiers decisively hold their ground, repelling all enemy attacks. Figolivka, Kupyansk, Kislivka and Kamianka of the Kharkiv Oblast were shelled with artillery and mortars.

Lyman axis: russians attacked during the day and tried to knock out our troops from their positions at Veselogt area of the Donetsk Oblast, albeit without success. They carried out airstrikes near Nevske, Luhansk Oblast, and Spiryny, Donetsk Oblast. More than 10x settlements, including Nevske, Belogorivka in the Luhansk Oblast, and Verkhnyokamianske and Vesele in the Donetsk Oblast, were shelled by artillery.

Bakhmut axis: the adversary carried out airstrikes near Druzhkivka and Bila Hora. More than 10x settlements, including Bohdanivka, Khromov, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske of the Donetsk Oblast, were shelled by artillery.

Avdiivka axis: the enemy forces carried out unsuccessful offensives in the vicinities of Novokalynovoy, Stepovoy, Pervomaisky and Nevelsky. Conducted an airstrike at Avdiyivka. The enemy shelled more than 15x settlements, including Keramik, Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, and Semenivka in the Donetsk Oblast.

Maryinka axis: under enemy artillery fire, our defenders repelled all enemy attacks in the vicinities of Maryinka. The enemy carried out airstrikes near Krasnohorivka and Novomykhailivka, Donetsk Oblast. They shelled Georgiivka, Elizavetivka, Krasnohorivka, Oleksandropil, Maryinka, and Katerynivka.

Shakhtarsk axis: the enemy forces carried out unsuccessful offensives at Blagodatne of the Donetsk Oblast. They also carried out an airstrike there. More than 10x settlements were shelled, such as Novomykhailivka, Vugledar, Zolota Niva and Shakhtarske of the Donetsk Oblast.

Zaporizhzhia and Kherson axes: russian forces are on the defensive, and concentrate their main efforts on preventing the advance of Ukrainian troops. They carried out an airstrike at Kozatsky of the Kherson Oblast. russians shelled more than 20x settlements, including Novodarivka, Levadne, Malynivka, Hulyaipole of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast; Havrylivka, Antonivka, Zolota Balka of the Kherson Oblast; Kherson, Ivanivka and Ochakiv in the Mykolaiv Oblast. Defense Forces of Ukraine continue offensive operations on the Melitopol and Berdyansk axes, and taking defensive positions, while conducting counter-battery manoeuvres.

Ukrainian Air Force conducted 7x on enemy manpower concentrations.

Ukrainian missile and artillery units hit 11x artillery units at firing positions, 1x ammunition depot, 3x anti-air defense systems and 2x radio electronic warfare stations.
