Situation update of General Staff of UAF regarding russian invasion as of 6 p.m., July 30, 2023

Day 522 of the full-scale russian military aggression continues.

During the day July 30x, the enemy launched 4 missiles and 34 air strikes. In particular, they used 4 strike drones of the "Shahed-136" type, all of them were destroyed. The russian federation also launched 37 MLRS on Ukrainian cities and Ukrainian Armed Forces. Unfortunately, there are victims among the civilians as well as some houses were destroyed.

The threat of missile and air strikes remains high across Ukraine.

20 combat clashes took place throughout the day.

Volyn and Polissya axes: no significant changes detected. There are no signs of the offensive groupings formation. 

Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axes: the enemy shelled with mortasr and artillery more than 25 settlements, in particular, Buchki, Hremyach of the Chernihiv Oblast; Porohony, Sytne of the Sumy Oblast and Veterinary, Kozacha Lopan, Vovchansk, Kharkiv Oblast.

Kupyansk axis:  our soldiers are firmly holding the defense, successfully repelled enemy attacks east of Berestovo, Kharkiv Oblast. Figolivka, Novomlynsk, Zapadne, Kindrashivka and Kupyansk in Kharkiv Oblast got under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

Lyman axis: the enemy carried out airstrikes at Bilogorivka, Luhansk Oblast, and Ivanivka, Serebryanka, and Spirnyi in Donetsk Oblast. Nevske, Bilogorivka of Luhansk Oblast and Torske, Spirne, Berestov of Donetsk Oblast were shelled by artillery.

Bakhmut axis: the enemy carried out airstrikes at Klishchiivka, Bila Hora and Kostyantynivka. More than 15x settlements, including Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bilokuzminivka, Hryhorivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka and Kostyantynivka of the Donetsk Oblast, were shelled by artillery.

Avdiyivka axis: the occupiers launched an airstrike at the Avdiyivka area. More than 10 settlements, including Keramik, Avdiyivka, Vodyane, and Karlivka of the Donetsk Oblast, were shelled by artillery.

Maryinka axis: the defense forces continue to hold back the advance of russian troops in the area of the towns of Maryinka and Pobieda, Donetsk Oblast. The enemy shelled more than 10 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Georgiyivka, Hostre, and Katerynivka.

Shakhtarsk axis: the enemy launched an air strike at Staromayorsky. russians shelled Blagodatne, Vugledar and Prechistivka in the Donetsk Oblast.

Zaporizhzhia and Kherson axes: the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on preventing the further advance of our troops. russians carried out an at Zmiyivka of the Kherson Oblast. More than 25 settlements, including Levadne, Hulyaipole, Zaliznychne, Biloghirya and Kamyanske of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast, were shelled by artillery; Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast; Beryslav, Vesele, Antonivka, Berehove and Veletenske of the Kherson Oblast. 

Defense Forces of Ukraine continue offensive operations on the Melitopol and Berdyansk axes, and are equipping captured positions.

Due to the successful military operations of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, the losses of the russian occupation forces, who physically do not have time to remove the dead from local morgues, has increased significantly. In Svatove, Luhansk Oblast, the territory of the city morgue is overflowing with the bodies of dead russians. The occupiers have not taken them away for almost a week. Because of this, the city has an unbearable corpse smell.

At the same time, in Starobilsk, the invaders forcibly transferred part of the civilian medical personnel from local medical facilities to the so-called military hospitals to provide medical aid to the wounded occupiers. As a result, local elderly residents complain about the lack of an opportunity to receive at least some kind of treatment.

Ukrainian Air Force conducted 7 strikes on enemy manpower, weapons and military equipment concentrations.

Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 4 reconnaissance UAVs of operational-tactical level.

Ukrainian missile and artillery units hit the enemy anti-air defense system, 8 artillery units at firing positions, 2 stations of electronic warfare, as well as 2 of manpower concentration.
