Day 608 of the russian full-scale military aggression against Ukraine continues.

During the day of October 24, there were 54 combat engagements. The enemy launched a total of 5 missile and 33 air strikes, more than 42 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. Unfortunately, the russian terrorist attacks have killed and wounded civilians. Residential houses and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

The operational situation in east and south of Ukraine remains difficult.

Volyn and Polissya axes: no significant changes. No signs of formation of an offensive group. Certain units of the armed forces of belarus continue their missions in the areas bordering Ukraine.

Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axes: the adversary maintains its military presence in the areas of russia bordering Ukraine. The enemy continues to shell Ukrainian settlements from the territory of russia and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. The occupiers launched an air strike in the vicinity of settlement of Leonivka (Chernihiv oblast). More than 20 settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Hremyach, Leonivka (Chernihiv oblast), Stepok, Hrabovske, Popivka (Sumy oblast), Pletenivka, Kozacha Lopan, Chuhunivka (Kharkiv oblast).

Kupyansk axis: the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations with air support in the vicinities of Synkivka and Ivanivka (Kharkiv oblast). Ukrainian defenders repelled 8 enemy attacks in that area. The russian occupiers also launched an air strike in the vicinity of Pishchane (Kharkiv oblast). The invaders fired artillery and mortars at around 10 settlements, including Dvorichna, Petropavlivka, Synkivka, Ivanivka (Kharkiv oblast).

Lyman axis: the Ukrainian defense forces repelled all enemy attacks in the vicinities of Nadiya and Makiyivka (Luhansk oblast). The occupiers launched air strikes in the area of Nevske, Serebryanske forestry (Luhansk oblast), and Siversk, Vyimka (Donetsk oblast). The invaders fired artillery and mortars at around 10 settlements, including Nevske, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Spirne, Siversk, Rozdolivka (Donetsk oblast).

Bakhmut axis: the Ukrainian defenders repelled 5 adversary attacks in the vicinities of Bohdanivka, Klishchiyivka, Andriyivka (Donetsk oblast). The adversary launched an air strike on the settlement of Dyliyivka (Donetsk oblast). Around 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Markove, Bohdanivka, Klishchiyivka, Andriyivka, Kurdyumivka, New York (Donetsk oblast).

Avdiyivka axis: the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations with air support in the vicinities of Avdiyivka, Stepove, Sjeverne, Nevelske (Donetsk oblast). The Ukrainian defenders repelled 6 enemy attacks in the area. The invaders fired artillery and mortars at more than 10 settlements, including Oleksandropil, Keramik, Stepove, Avdiyivka, Pervomaiske (Donetsk oblast).

Maryinka axis: the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations with air support in the vicinities of Maryinka and Pobjeda (Donetsk oblast). The Ukrainian defense forces repelled around 20 enemy attacks in the area. Around 10 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Heorhiyivka, Maryinka, Kostyantynivka (Donetsk oblast), were under artillery and mortar fire of the occupiers.

Shakhtarske axis: the invaders conducted unsuccessful assault operations with air support in the vicinity of Staromaiorske. The Ukrainian defenders repelled all enemy attacks near Novomykhailivka, Prechystivka and in the area to the south of Zolota Nyva (Donetsk oblast). Around 10 settlements, including Vuhledar, Zolota Nyva, Blahodatne, Urozhaine (Donetsk oblast), came under artillery and mortar fire.

Zaporizhzhia axis: the Ukrainian defenders repelled 1 enemy attack southeast of Mala Tokmachka (Zaporizhzhia oblast). More than 20 settlements, including Huliaipilske, Bilohirya, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Kamyanske (Zaporizhzhia oblast), came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

Kherson axis: the occupiers launched air strikes in the vicinities of Zmiyivka, Beryslav, Kozatske, Mykilske (Kherson oblast). The settlement of Zelenivka (Kherson oblast) came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

At the same time, the Ukrainian defense forces continue offensive operations in the Melitopol axis, offensive (assault) operations in the Bakhmut axis, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, and exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.

During the day of October 24, Ukrainian Air Force launched 13 air strikes on the concentrations of troops, weapons and military equipment, and 3 air strikes on air defense missile systems of the russian invaders.

The missile troops destroyed 12 artillery systems and 1 logistics hub of the occupiers.
