Day 687 of the russian full-scale military aggression against Ukraine continues.

The russian federation continues to wage a war of aggression. Despite significant losses, it does not abandon its plans for the complete occupation of Ukraine. The enemy continues to ignore the laws and customs of war, uses terror tactics, conducts strikes, and attacks both military and civilian targets. The enemy is actively using tactical aircraft and FPV quadcopters, conducting assault operations with the support of armored vehicles.

The operational situation in eastern and southern Ukraine remains difficult.

During the day of January 11, there were 56 combat engagements. The enemy launched a total of 3 air strikes, carried out 16 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. Unfortunately, the russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties and injuries. Private residential and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

Volyn and Polissya axes: no significant changes. No signs of formation of an offensive group. Certain units of the armed forces of belarus continue their missions in the areas bordering Ukraine.

Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axes: the adversary maintains its military presence in the areas of russia bordering Ukraine. The enemy continues its sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shelling Ukrainian settlements from the territory of russia and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. More than 20 settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Klyusy, Leonivka, Hremyach (Chernihiv oblast), Holyshivske, Sadky, Zapsillya, Stepok, Yizdetske (Sumy oblast), Vovchansk, Bochkove, Budarky (Kharkiv oblast).

Kupyansk axis: the Ukrainian defenders repelled 2 attacks in the vicinity of Synkivka (Kharkiv oblast), where the occupiers made unsuccessful attempts to breach Ukrainian defense. The invaders fired artillery and mortars at around 10 settlements, including Dvorichna, Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka, Berestove (Kharkiv oblast).

Lyman axis: the Ukrainian defenders repelled 6x assaults near Makiyivka (Luhansk oblast) and east of Terny (Donetsk oblast), where the occupiers made attempts to improve their tactical situation. The enemy fired artillery and mortars at more than 15 settlements, including Nevske, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Torske, Serebryanka, Verkhniokamyanske, Spirne, Rozdolivka (Donetsk oblast).

Bakhmut axis: the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 1 attack in the vicinity of Klishchiyivka (Donetsk oblast). More than 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Vasyukivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiyivka, Andriyivka, New York (Donetsk oblast). 

Avdiyivka axis: the Ukrainian defenders repelled 9 enemy attacks near Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiyivka, and 16 more attacks in the vicinities of Pervomaiske and Nevelske (Donetsk oblast), where the occupiers made unsuccessful attempts to improve their tactical situation. The invaders fired artillery and mortars at around 15 settlements, including Novokalynove, Berdychi, Avdiyivka, Vodyane, Pervomaiske (Donetsk oblast).

Maryinka axis: the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the invaders in the vicinities of Heorhiyivka, Maryinka and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast). In that area, the adversary made 10 attempts to breach Ukrainian defense. The settlements of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiyivka, Maksymilyanivka, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, Kostyantynivka were under artillery and mortar fire of the occupiers.

Shakhtarske axis: the adversary conducted no offensives. The adversary fired artillery and mortars at more than 10 settlements, including Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Urozhaine, Staromaiorske (Donetsk oblast).

Zaporizhzhia axis: the Ukrainian defenders repelled 2 assaults west of Verbove (Zaporizhzhia oblast). In that area the enemy made unsuccessful attempts to regain lost ground. Around 20 settlements, including Levadne, Malynivka Hulyaipole, Pyatykhatky, Kamyanske (Zaporizhzhia oblast), came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

Odesa operational-strategic group, Kherson axis: the adversary fired artillery at the city of Kherson, the settlements of Beryslav, Stanislav (Kherson oblast), as well as Solonchaky (Mykolaiv oblast). Also, the enemy launched MLRS strikes in the vicinities of the settlements of Tyahynka, Ivanivka, Krynky, Veletenske (Kherson oblast).

The occupiers do not abandon their intention to drive Ukrainian units out of their footholds on the left bank of the Dnipro. Thus, during the day, the enemy made 3 unsuccessful assaults. The Ukrainian troops are holding the line and keep inflicting significant losses on the enemy.

During the day of January 11, the Ukrainian Air Force launched air strikes on 2 concentrations of troops of the occupiers. 

The Ukrainian missile troops hit 2 concentrations of troops, weapons, and military equipment, 1 command post, 1 ammunition depot of the russian invaders.
