Situation update of General Staff of UAF regarding russian invasion as of 6 a.m., October 30, 2023

Day 614 of the russian full-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun.

The russian federation continues to ignore the laws and customs of warfare, using the terror tactics, launching missile and air strikes, and firing multiple launch rocket systems not only at the military, but also at civilian targets across Ukraine.

During the day of October 15, there were around 60x combat engagements. The enemy launched a total of 1x missile and 88x air strikes, 70x MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. Unfortunately, the russian terrorist attacks have killed and wounded civilians. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed or damaged.

Also, last night, russian occupants launched yet another strike on Ukraine, using 12x Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs. The Ukrainian Air Defense destroyed all 12x of the enemy drones.

Air strikes hit Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Novoosynove, Pishchane (Kharkiv oblast), Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Serebryanske forestry, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast); Novoselivka, Verkhnokamyanske, Klishchiivka, Bila Hora, Kurdyumivka, Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, Zolota Nyva, Staromaiorske (Donetsk oblast), Mala Tokmachka, Robotyne, Novodanylivka (Zaporizhzhia oblast), Vesele, Odradokamyanka, Tyahynka, Ivanivka (Kherson oblast).

More than 10x settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson oblasts came under artillery fire.

Pivnich operational-strategic group, Volyn and Polissya axes: no significant changes.

Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axes: the adversary maintains its military presence in the areas of russia bordering Ukraine. The enemy troops conduct active subversive activities in order to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened axes. The adversary increases the density of minefields along the state border in Belgorod oblast (russia).

Khortytsia operational-strategic group, Kupyansk axis: the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the vicinities of settlements of Synkivka and Ivanivka (Kharkiv oblast), where Ukrainian defenders repelled 7x attacks of the adversary.

Lyman axis: the Ukrainian defenders repelled an enemy attack southeast of Terny (Donetsk oblast)

Bakhmut axis: the enemy made unsuccessful attempts to regain the lost ground near Andriivka. The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue assault operations south of Bakhmut (Donetsk oblast), inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the enemy, and consolidate their new positions.

Tavria operational-strategic group, Avdiivka axis: the enemy keeps trying to encircle Avdiivka, but the Ukrainian soldiers are standing their ground, inflicting major losses on the occupiers. The enemy’s offensive actions were unsuccessful in the vicinities of Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Opytne, Pervomaiske (Donetsk oblast), where the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled more than 10x enemy attacks.

Maryinka axis: the invaders conducted unsuccessful assault operations in the vicinities of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast). The Ukrainian soldiers repelled more than 20x enemy attacks in that area.

Shakhtarske axis: the Ukrainian defenders repelled the adversary attack south of Vuhledar (Donetsk oblast).

Zaporizhzhia axis: enemy made 5x attempts to regain the lost ground near Robotyne (Zaporizhzhia oblast), to no success.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their offensive operation on Melitopol axis, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, exhausting the enemy all along the front line.

Odesa operational-strategic group, Kherson axis: the Ukrainian defenders conduct counter-battery fire and strike behind the enemy lines.

During the day of October 29, the Ukrainian Air Force launched 16x air strikes on the concentrations of troops, weapons, and military equipment of the adversary.

The Ukrainian missile troops hit 6x concentration of troops, weapons, and military equipment, 1x command post, 3x air defense systems as well as 6x artillery systems of the russian invaders.
