Day 550 of the russian full-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun.

Last night, the russian federation launched yet another missile attack on Ukraine. Information on the aftermath of this terrorist attack is currently being updated.

During the day of August 26, the enemy launched 5x missile and 45x air strikes, 67x MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. Unfortunately, the russian terrorist attacks have killed and wounded civilians. Residential buildings, schools, and other civilian infrastructure were damaged.

The likelihood of missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains high.

During the day of August 26, there were more than 40x combat engagements.

Volyn and Polissya axes: no significant changes.

Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axes: the adversary fired mortars and artillery at more than 25x settlements, including Khrinivka, Klyusy (Chernihiv oblast), Kruzhok, Volfyne, Basivka, Turya, Hrabovske, Ryasne (Sumy oblast), Rublene, Ambarne, and Bolohivka (Kharkiv oblast).

Kupyansk axis: the adversary fired artillery and mortars at the settlements of Dvorichna, Synkivka, Ivanivka, Kyslivka, and Topoli (Kharkiv oblast).

Lyman axis: the adversary conducted unsuccessful offensives in the vicinities of Novojehorivka (Luhansk oblast). The invaders launched air strikes in the vicinities of Novojehorivka, Tverdokhlibove, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), and Spirne (Donetsk oblast). More than 15x settlements, including Kreminna, Kuzmyne, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Torske, Spirne, and Rozdolivka (Donetsk oblast), were shelled with artillery.

Bakhmut axis: the adversary attempted offensive operations in the vicinities of Orikhovo-Vasylivka and Klishchiivka (Donetsk oblast), to no success. The invaders launched air strikes in the vicinities of Klishchiivka, Bila Hora, and New York (Donetsk oblast). More than 20x settlements, including Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, Stupochky, Andriivka, and Kurdyumivka (Donetsk oblast), suffered from enemy artillery shelling.

Avdiivka axis: the adversary conducted unsuccessful offensives in the vicinity of Stepove (Donetsk oblast). The invaders fired artillery at more than 10x settlements, including Keramik, Novobakhmutivka, Orlivka, Tonenke, and Netailove (Donetsk oblast).

Maryinka axis: the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the russian offensive in the vicinity of Maryinka (Donetsk oblast). The adversary launched an air strike in the vicinity of Krasnohorivka (Donetsk oblast). The enemy fired artillery at more than 10x settlements, including Kurakhivka, Oleksandropil, Hostre, Maryinka, Pobjeda, and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast).

Shakhtarske axis: the enemy launched air strikes in the vicinities of Vuhledar and Staromaiorske (Donetsk oblast). More than 15x settlements, including Vuhledar, Vodyane, Shakhtarske, Blahodatne, Urozhaine, and Rivnopil (Donetsk oblast), suffered from enemy artillery shelling.

Zaporizhzhia axis: the adversary launched air strikes in the vicinities of Mala Tokmachka, Orikhiv, and Robotyne (Zaporizhzhia oblast). More than 20x settlements suffered from enemy artillery shelling, including Staroukrainka, Huliaipilske, Orikhiv, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, and Robotyne (Zaporizhzhia oblast).

Kherson axis: the adversary fired artillery at Olhivka, Odradokamyanka, Mykolaivka, Kherson, Yantarne, and Dniprovske (Kherson oblast).

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct the offensive operation on Melitopol axis, consolidating their positions and conducting counter-battery fire.

During the day of August 26, Ukrainian Air Force launched 2x air strikes on command posts, 10x air strikes on the concentrations of troops, and 2x air strikes on the anti-aircraft missile systems of the adversary.

During the day of August 26, the Ukrainian missile and artillery troops hit 2x anti-aircraft missile systems, 1x concentration of enemy troops, and 4x artillery systems at their firing positions.
