Day 479 of the russian full-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun.

During the day of June 16, the enemy launched yet another missile strike on Kyiv oblast, using 6x Kh-47 Kinzhal air-launched ballistic missiles and 6x Kalibr cruise missiles. The air defense forces and means of the Air Force and the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have intercepted all 12x missiles.

In addition, during day of June 16, the adversary launched 33x air strikes and 59x MLRS attacks. Unfortunately, the attacks caused civilian casualties on top of the destroyed infrastructure.

The likelihood of missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains very high.

The adversary focuses its main efforts on Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Maryinka axes, with 36x combat engagements taking place during the day of June 16.

Volyn and Polissya axes: no significant changes.

Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axes: during the day of June 16, the adversary launched air strikes on the settlements of Mohrytsya (Sumy oblast) and Budarky (Kharkiv oblast). The invaders fired mortars and artillery at Leonivka, Kostobobriv, Hremyach (Chernihiv oblast), Znob-Trubchevska, Chuikivka, Sosnivka, Starykove, Boyaro-Lezhachi, Stari Vyrky, Basivka, Stepok, Krasnopillya, Velyka Pysarivka (Sumy oblast), Udy, Chervona Zorya, Hlyboke, Lyptsi, Zelene, Ternova, Ohirtseve, Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory, Bochkove, and Mala Vovcha (Kharkiv oblast).

Kupyansk axis: Kamyanka, Krasne Pershe, Fyholivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kyslivka (Kharkiv oblast), and Novoselivske (Luhansk oblast) were shelled with artillery and mortars.

Lyman axis: the enemy launched an air strike in the vicinity of Spirne. Stelmakhivka, Nevske, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Torske, Verkhnokamyanske, Spirne, and Serebryanka (Donetsk oblast) were shelled with artillery.

Bakhmut axis: the adversary launched air strikes in the vicinities of Bila Hora and New York (Donetsk oblast). Vasyukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, Khromove, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Ozarianivka, Bila Hora, Kostyantynivka, and Pivdenne (Donetsk oblast) suffered from enemy artillery shelling.

Avdiivka axis: the adversary conducted unsuccessful offensives in the vicinities of Stepove and Avdiivka, launched an air strike near the latter. The invaders also fired artillery at Vesele and Karlivka (Donetsk oblast).

Maryinka axis: Ukrainian defenders repelled all enemy attacks in the vicinity of the city of Maryinka during the day of June 16. The enemy launched air strikes in the vicinities of Maryinka and Pobjeda. At the same time, the settlements of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Maryinka, Maksymilyanivka, and Kostyantynivka (Donetsk oblast) were shelled by enemy artillery.

Shakhtarske axis: the enemy attempted offensive operations towards Novomykhailivka and Vodyane (Donetsk oblast), to no success. The occupant forces launched air strikes in the vicinities of Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, and Blahodatne (Donetsk oblast). The invaders shelled the settlements of Vuhledar, Vremivka, Storozheve, Novosilka, and Novopil (Donetsk oblast).

Zaporizhzhia and Kherson axes: the adversary stays on the defensive. The adversary shelled Olhivske, Poltavka, Hulyaipole, Zaliznychne, Huliaipilske, Charivne, Bilohirya, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mali Shcherbaky, Kamyanske (Zaporizhzhya oblast), Zmiivka, Shlyakhove, Beryslav, Kozatske, Inzhenerne, Zelenivka, Sadove, Antonivka, Bilozerka, Dniprovske, Kizomys (Kherson oblast), and the city of Kherson.

The adversary continues to suffer heavy losses that it tries to conceal by all means. In particular, the occupation command has established a new procedure for the treatment of wounded russian soldiers. According to it, only officers are eligible for evacuation to russia. NCOs and privates, regardless of the severity and complexity of their injuries, are to be treated in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. To ensure the implementation of this decision, the invaders are increasing the number of beds in places they use as military hospitals.

During the day of June 16, the Ukrainian Air Force launched 17x air strikes on the concentrations of enemy troops. Also, Ukrainian soldiers intercepted 1x Ka-52 helicopter and 7x operational-tactical level reconnaissance UAVs of the enemy.

The Ukrainian missile and artillery troops hit 1x command post, 3x concentrations of troops, 5x artillery units at their firing positions, 4x electronic warfare stations, and 2x other important targets of the adversary during the day of June 16.
