Day 599 of the russian full-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun. 

The enemy continues to ignore the laws and customs of warfare, using the kremlin’s signature terror tactics, launching missile and air strikes, and firing multiple launch rocket systems not only at the military, but also at numerous civilian targets in Ukraine. 

The Ukrainian defense forces continue to defend in the east and the south of Ukraine, conduct the offensive on Melitopol’ axis, and offensive operations on Bakhmut axis. As they destroy the enemy, they liberate the temporarily occupied territories and consolidate new positions. 

During the day of October 14, there were around 60 combat engagements. The enemy launched a total of 2 missile and 43 air strikes, 59 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. Unfortunately, russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties and injuries. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed or damaged.

Air strikes hit Hremyachka (Chernihiv oblast), Holubivka, Kup’yans’k, Petropavlivka, Podoly, Pishchane (Kharkiv oblast), Nevske, Bilohorivka, Serebryanske forestry (Luhansk oblast), Spirne, Rozdolivka, Klishchiivka, Oleksandro-Shul’tyne, Keramik, Ocheretyne, Prohres, Lastochkyne, Avdiyivka, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, Urozhaine, Staromaiorske (Donetsk oblast), Novodarivka, Novodanylivka (Zaporizhzhya oblast), Beryslav (Kherson oblast).

About 100 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson oblasts came under artillery fire.

“Pivnich” Operational-Strategic Group, Volyn and Polissya axes: no significant changes.

Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axes: the adversary maintains its military presence in the areas of russia bordering Ukraine. The enemy troops conduct active subversive activities in order to prevent the deployment of Ukrainian troops to threatened axes. The adversary increases the density of minefields along the state border in Belgorod oblast (russia).

“Khortytsia” Operational-Strategic Group, Kupyansk axis: Ukrainian soldiers repelled 10 enemy attacks in the vicinities of Synkivka and Ivanivka (Kharkiv oblast). 

Lyman axis: Ukrainian defense forces continue to hold back the enemy’s offensive in the vicinities of Makiyivka, Srebryanske forestry (Luhansk oblast) and Torske (Donetsk oblast). The Ukrainian defenders repelled 7 enemy attacks in that area. 

Bakhmut axis: the Ukrainian defense forces continue assault operations south of Bakhmut (Donetsk oblast), inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the enemy, and consolidate their new positions.

“Tavria” Operational-Strategic Group, Avdiyivka axis: the adversary keeps trying to break through Ukrainian defenses, to no success. The Ukrainian defenders repelled 15 enemy attacks in the vicinities of Avdiyivka, Tonenke and Pervomaiske (Donetsk oblast).

Maryinka axis: during the day of October 14, Ukrainian defense forces successfully repelled more than 10 enemy attacks in the vicinity of Maryinka, (Donetsk oblast). 

Shakhtarske axis: the enemy did not conduct any offensive (assault) actions.

Zaporizhzhia axis: the invaders made 5 unsuccessful attempts to regain the lost ground in the vicinities of Robotyne and Verbove (Zaporizhzhia oblast).

“Odesa” Operational-Strategic Group, Kherson axis: the Ukrainian defense forces conduct counter-battery fire, destroy the supply depots, and successfully strike behind the enemy lines. 

The Ukrainian defense forces continue their offensive operation on Melitopol’ axis, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces and exhausting the enemy along the entire frontline. 

During the day of October 14, Ukrainian Air Force launched 12 air strikes on the concentrations of troops, weapons and military equipment, 2 air strikes on anti-air missile systems of the occupiers. 

The Ukrainian missile troops hit 1 command post, 2 artillery systems and 1 concentration of troops, weapons and military equipment of the russian invaders.
