Glory to Ukraine! Day 437 of the russian full-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun. 

During the day of May 5, the adversary launched 8 missile and 49 air strikes, 82 MLRS attacks. The shelling caused civilian casualties, destroyed and damaged private houses and other civilian infrastructure. 

The likelihood of further missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains high.

The adversary continues to focus its main efforts on the offensive operations on Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, and Maryinka axes. Around 50 attacks of the occupiers were repelled. Bakhmut and Maryinka remain at the epicenter of the fighting, and Ukrainian defenders are holding the line.

Volyn and Polissya axes: no significant changes.

Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna axes: the enemy launched air strikes on Ivanivka, Leonivka, Buchky (Chernihiv oblast), and Znob-Trubchevska (Sumy oblast). The invaders fired mortars and artillery at the settlements of Stara Huta, Baranivka, Tovstodubove, Bachivsk, Khodyne, Volfyne (Sumy oblast), Chervona Zorya, Udy, Veterynarne, Hraniv, Kozacha Lopan, Hoptivka, Hlyboke, Lukyantsi, Neskuchne, and Starytsya (Kharkiv oblast).

Kupyansk axis: Bolohivka, Krasne Pershe, Fyholivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Lyman Pershyi, Pishchane, and Stelmakhivka (Kharkiv oblast) were shelled with artillery and mortars. 

Lyman axis: the adversary did not conduct any offensive operations. Makiyivka (Luhansk oblast), Nevske, Yampolivka, Bilohorivka, Verkhniokamyanske, and Spirne (Donetsk oblast) came under artillery fire.

Bakhmut axis: the enemy enemy continues offensive operations. Fighting in the city of Bakhmut continues. The occupants made an unsuccessful attempt to advance towards Hryhorivka, Ivanivske, and New York. Vasyukivka, Minkivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Markove, Hryhorivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar Kostyantynivka, Kramatorsk, Slovyansk, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pivdenne, Toretsk, Pivnichne, and New York (Donetsk oblast), suffered from enemy shelling.

Avdiyivka axis: the adversary conducted offensive operations in the vicinity of Avdiyivka, to no success. The invaders shelled Orlivka, Lastochkyne, Avdiyivka, Tonenke, Karlivka, Netaylove, and Pervomaiske (Donetsk oblast).

Maryinka axis: Ukrainian troops repelled attacks in the vicinity of Maryinka during the day of May 5. Kurakhove, Heorhiyivka, Pobjeda, Yelyzavetivka, Katerynivka, and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast) were shelled by the enemy as well.

Shakhtarske axis: the enemy did not conduct any offensive operations during the day of May 5. The invaders shelled Shakhtarske, Prechystivka, and Vuhledar (Donetsk oblast).

Zaporizhzhia and Kherson axes: the adversary is defending. More than 40 settlements were shelled, including Burlatske, Vremivka, Novosilka, Zelene Pole, Novopil (Donetsk oblast), Olhivske, Malynivka, Hulyaipole, Zaliznychne, Huliaipilske, Bilohirya, Mala Tokmachka, Mali Shcherbaky, Kamyanske, Stepnohirsk (Zaporizhzhia oblast), Nikopol (Dnipropetrovsk oblast), Zolota Balka, Dudchany, Vesele, Dniprovske, Kizomys (Kherson oblast), and the city of Kherson. 

Ukrainian citizens who refused to obtain a russian passport are being forcibly evicted by the occupiers in the city of Starobilsk. Usually, they come to a house no more than twice. On the third time, people and their belongings are forcibly thrown out into the street. The occupiers are not even deterred by minor children that may live in the apartment. After the eviction, these people are taken to filtration centers, and their homes are given to the russian occupation army to live in. 

During the day of May 5, Ukrainian Air Force launched 10 air strikes on the concentrations of troops and military equipment of the adversary. They also intercepted 5 enemy Shahed-136/131, 2 Zala, 1 Orlan-10, 1 Kub, and 1 Lancet UAVs.

During the day of May 5, Ukrainian missile and artillery troops hit 5 concentrations of weapons and military equipment, 3 ammunition and fuel and lubricants depots, 1 air defense asset, and 5 other important targets of the adversary.
