  • Update on the spread and prevention of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

    According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of June 29, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 633 (31 children out of this number, 19 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

    The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 2,583,468 people have been vaccinated.

    On June 28, 2021, 81,637 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 27,898 - CoronaVac vaccine, 34,332 – Comirnaty vaccine, 19,407 – AstraZeneka, Janssen - 0.

    During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 360 persons, 40 patients died, 2,294 persons recovered. There have been conducted 45,794 testings (22,511 using the PCR method, 9,581 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 13,702).

    During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

    2 235 096 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;

    2 166 668 people recovered;

    52 340 people died;

    10 840 333 testings have been conducted.
