Update on the spread and prophylaxis of COVID-19 coronavirus infection
According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of May 27, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 3,509 (193 children out of this number, 82 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.
The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 1,099,713 people have been vaccinated.
Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 992,191 people have been vaccinated. On May 26, 2021, 15,131 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 1,040 people got CoviShield vaccine, 8,581 – CoronaVac vaccine, 3,150 – Comirnaty vaccine, 2,360 – AstraZeneka, 0 - Janssen.
During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 1,402 persons, 183 patients died, 16,867 persons recovered. There have been conducted 67,564 testings (29,280 using the PCR method,
12,440 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 25,844).
During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:
- 2,193,367 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
- 2,006,918 people recovered;
- 50,076 people died;
- 10,105,901 testings have been conducted.
