  • Update on the spread and prevention of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

    According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of November 2, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 23,393 (1,406 children out of this number, 421 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

    The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 18,279,337 vaccines have been made.

    Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 10,682,752 people have been vaccinated. on November 2, 2021, 310,439 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 132,971 – CoronaVac vaccine, 147,210 – Comirnaty vaccine, 30,258– AstraZeneka, 0– Janssen, Moderna – 0

    Vaccination was carried out by 1,129 mobile immunization teams, 3,261 vaccination points and 422 vaccination centers.

    During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 5,935 persons, 720 patients died, 11,937 persons recovered. There have been conducted 157,503 testings (73,461 using the PCR method, 21,106 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 62,936).

    During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

    • 2,979,086 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
    • 2,266,674 people recovered;
    • 69,447 people died;
    • 14,586,038 testings have been conducted.
