  • Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

    According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as sf September 1,2021, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 2,477 (179 children out of this number, 36 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

    The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 9,358,193 people have been vaccinated.

    The number of vaccinated persons from COVID-19 from the beginning of the campaign makes up 5,452,125. On September, 2021, 119,022 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 31,566 - CoronaVac vaccine, 39,922 – Comirnaty vaccine, 4,500– AstraZeneka, Janssen – 0, Moderna – 43,034.

    Vaccination was carried out by 906 mobile immunization teams, 2,827 vaccination points and 330 vaccination centers.

    During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 787 persons, 44 patients died, 889 persons recovered. There have been conducted 53,715 testings (23,522 using the PCR method, 7,954 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 22,239).

    During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

    • 2,290,848 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
    • 2,209,754 people recovered;
    • 53,877 people died;
    • 12,031,985 testings have been conducted.
