Update on the spread and prevention of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of February 3, 2022, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 43,778 (4,381 children out of this number, 873 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 30,589,327 vaccines have been made.

Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 15,420,207 people have been vaccinated. On February 3, 2022, 75,304 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 10,756 – CoronaVac vaccine, 57,659 – Comirnaty vaccine, 954 – AstraZeneka, 0 – Janssen, Moderna – 5,935.

Vaccination was carried out by 987 mobile immunization teams, 3,224 vaccination points and 426 vaccination centers.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 4,328 persons, 174 patients died, 9,497 persons recovered. There have been conducted 174,221 testings (96,361 using the PCR method, 7,229 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 70,631).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

  • 4,213,675 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
  • 3,660,351 people recovered;
  • 100,983 people died;
  • 18,404,417 testings have been conducted.
