Update on the spread and prevention of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of January 31, 2022, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 30,768 (4,056 children out of this number, 337 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 30,366,236 vaccines have been made.

Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 15,347,953 people have been vaccinated. On January 31, 2022, 65,655 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 10,059 – CoronaVac vaccine, 50,319 – Comirnaty vaccine, 1,053 – AstraZeneka, 0 – Janssen, Moderna – 4,224.

Vaccination was carried out by 868 mobile immunization teams, 3,156 vaccination points and 429 vaccination centers.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 2,069 persons, 192 patients died, 8,835 persons recovered. There have been conducted 130,660 testings (67,886 using the PCR method, 6,074 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 56,700).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

  • 4,095,263 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
  • 3,631,580 people recovered;
  • 100,395 people died;
  • 18,113,574 testings have been conducted.
