Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of July 29, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 962 (51 children out of this number, 49 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign5,376,124 vaccines have been made.

Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 3,437,631 people have been vaccinated. On July 29, 2021, 150,253 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 35,363 – CoronaVac vaccine, 39,211– Comirnaty vaccine, 24,211 – AstraZeneka, 0 – Janssen, Moderna – 51,468.

Vaccination was carried out by 907 mobile immunization teams, 2,565 vaccination points and 277 vaccination centers.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 488 persons, 14 patients died, 504 persons recovered. There have been conducted 41,328 testings (19,397 using the PCR method, 7,997 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 13,934).


During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

  • 2,251,869 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
  • 2,186,353 people recovered;
  • 52,930 people died;
  • 11,360,926 testings have been conducted.
