Update on the spread and prevention of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of November 28, 2021 in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 5,804 (530 children out of this number, 72 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 24,288,230 vaccines have been made.

Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 13,320,532 people have been vaccinated. On November 28, 2021, 93,970 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 32,642 – CoronaVac vaccine, 39,659 – Comirnaty vaccine, 12,451 – AstraZeneka, 0 – Janssen, Moderna – 9,218.

Vaccination was carried out by 663 mobile immunization teams, 3,112 vaccination points and 480 vaccination centers.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 2,082 persons, 297 patients died, 10,477 persons recovered. There have been conducted 32,694 testings (13,364 using the PCR method, 1,795 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 17,535).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

  • 3,427,827 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
  • 2,920,714 people recovered;
  • 85,414 people died;
  • 15,832,613 testings have been conducted.
