  • Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

    According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of July 26, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 681 (37 children out of this number, 5 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

    The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign4,938,596 vaccines have been made.

    Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 3,177,763 people have been vaccinated. On July 26, 2021, 126,096 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 28,305 – CoronaVac vaccine, 38,801 – Comirnaty vaccine, 18,739 – AstraZeneka, 0 – Janssen, Moderna – 40,251.

    Vaccination was carried out by 710 mobile immunization teams, 2 540 vaccination points and 347 vaccination centers.

    During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 266 persons, 27 patients died, 515 persons recovered. There have been conducted 44 739 testings (22 330 using the PCR method, 8 918 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 13 491).

    During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

    • 2 249 344 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
    • 2 184 880 people recovered;
    • 52 876 people died;
    • 11 301 274 testings have been conducted.
