Update on the spread and prevention of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of November 24, 2021 in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 16,943 (1,451 children out of this number, 304 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 23,501,133 vaccines have been made.

Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 13,083,135 people have been vaccinated. On November 24, 2021, 275,319 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 107,031 – CoronaVac vaccine, 121,379 – Comirnaty vaccine, 31,866 – AstraZeneka, 0 – Janssen, Moderna – 15,043.

Vaccination was carried out by 1,104 mobile immunization teams, 3,264 vaccination points and 465 vaccination centers.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 3,404 persons, 628 patients died, 26,811 persons recovered. There have been conducted 102,899 testings (52,316 using the PCR method, 10,092 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 40,491).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

  • 3,384,404 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
  • 2,852,421 people recovered;
  • 83,541 people died;
  • 15,700,772 testings have been conducted.
