Update on the spread and prevention of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of November 23, 2021 in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 14,325 (1,183 children out of this number, 287 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 23,225,814 vaccines have been made.

Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 13,000,634 people have been vaccinated. On November 23, 2021, 286,121 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 112,145 – CoronaVac vaccine, 128,442 – Comirnaty vaccine, 30,493 – AstraZeneka, 0 – Janssen, Moderna – 15,041.

Vaccination was carried out by 1,058 mobile immunization teams, 3,290 vaccination points and 452 vaccination centers.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 4,077 persons, 595 patients died,
29,044 persons recovered. There have been conducted 108,827 testings (52,719 using the PCR method, 11,343 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 44,765).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

  • 3,367,461 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
  • 2,825,641 people recovered;
  • 82,913 people died;
  • 15,648,456 testings have been conducted.
