  • Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

    According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of September 22, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 7,866 (667 children out of this number, 175 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

    The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 11,826,357 vaccines have been made.

    Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 6,527,042 people have been vaccinated. On September 22, 2021, 144,768 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 45,617– CoronaVac vaccine, 75,110 – Comirnaty vaccine, 24,041– AstraZeneka, 0– Janssen, Moderna – 0

    Vaccination was carried out by 953 mobile immunization teams, 2,993 vaccination points and 344 vaccination centers.

    During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 2,070 persons, 123 patients died, 2,305 persons recovered. There have been conducted 84,935 testings (41,625 using the PCR method, 9,742 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 33,568).

    During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

    • 2,370,425 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
    • 2,237,973 people recovered;
    • 55,284 people died;
    • 12,593,275 testings have been conducted.
