  • Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

    According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of July 20, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 655 (37 children out of this number, 18 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection).

    The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 4,279,666 people have been vaccinated.

    On July 19, 2021, 100,003 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 38,129 - CoronaVac vaccine, 45,270 – Comirnaty vaccine, 14,984 – AstraZeneka, Janssen – 0, Moderna – 1,620.

    Vaccination was carried out by 583 mobile immunization teams, 1,394 vaccination stations and 50 vaccination centers.

    During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 508 persons, 13 patients died, 577 persons recovered. There have been conducted 43,503 testings (18,151 using the PCR method, 9,082 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 16,270).

    During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

    • 2,245,930 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
    • 2,182,502 people recovered;
    • 52,769 people died;
    • 11,200,678 testings have been conducted.
