Update on the spread and prevention of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of February 1, 2022, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 35,014 (4,190 children out of this number, 940 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 30,440,828 vaccines have been made.

Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 15,373,130 people have been vaccinated. On February 1, 2022, 74,592 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 10,724 – CoronaVac vaccine, 57,397 – Comirnaty vaccine, 923 – AstraZeneka, 0 – Janssen, Moderna – 5,548.

Vaccination was carried out by 664 mobile immunization teams, 2,955 vaccination points and 417 vaccination centers.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 4,314 persons, 204 patients died, 9,894 persons recovered. There have been conducted 185,297 testings (93,280 using the PCR method, 8,012 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 84,005).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

  • 4,130,277 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
  • 3,641,474 people recovered;
  • 100,599 people died;
  • 18,206,854 testings have been conducted.
