Update on the spread and prevention of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of November 15, 2021 in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 16,308 (1,168 children out of this number, 327 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 21,218,965 vaccines have been made.

Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 12,331,552 people have been vaccinated. On November 15, 2021, 268,088 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 110,982 – CoronaVac vaccine, 126,630 – Comirnaty vaccine, 22,884 – AstraZeneka, 0 – Janssen, Moderna – 7,592.

Vaccination was carried out by 1,169 mobile immunization teams, 3,222 vaccination points and 445 vaccination centers.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 2,264 persons, 838 patients died, 21,914 persons recovered. There have been conducted 112,896 testings (45,674 using the PCR method, 13,529 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 53,693).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

  • 3,244,749 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
  • 2,664,373 people recovered;
  • 77,985 people died;
  • 15,292,686 testings have been conducted.
