Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of September 13, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 3,332 (364 children out of this number, 58 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign10,846,167 vaccines have been made.

Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 5,961,265 people have been vaccinated. On September 13, 2021, 135,223 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 30,925 – CoronaVac vaccine, 47,552 – Comirnaty vaccine, 14,918 – AstraZeneka, 0 – Janssen, Moderna – 41,828.

Vaccination was carried out by 300 mobile immunization teams, 1,004 vaccination points and 353 vaccination centers.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 718 persons, 97 patients died, 1,404 persons recovered. There have been conducted 62,725 testings (29,281 using the PCR method, 8,413 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 25,031).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

  • 2,321,156 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
  • 2,223,272 people recovered;
  • 54,457 people died;
  • 12,309,029 testings have been conducted.
