  • Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

    According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of October 10, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 8,832 (836 children out of this number, 78 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

    The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign13,683,903 vaccines have been made.

    Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 7,548,873 people have been vaccinated. On October 10, 2021, 39,060 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 9,103 – CoronaVac vaccine, 23,190 – Comirnaty vaccine, 6,767 – AstraZeneka, 0 – Janssen, Moderna – 0.

    Vaccination was carried out by 353 mobile immunization teams, 1,282 vaccination points and 356 vaccination centers.

    During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 2,672 persons, 207 patients died, 2,053 persons recovered. There have been conducted 52,064 testings (23,675 using the PCR method, 3,480 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 24,909).

    During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

    • 2,550,089 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
    • 2,292,480 people recovered;
    • 58,700 people died;
    • 13,277,259 testings have been conducted.
