Update on the spread and prevention of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of February 10, 2022, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 41,229 (3,369 children out of this number, 1,247 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 30,997,467 vaccines have been made.

Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 15,541,413 people have been vaccinated. On February 10, 2022, 72,255 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 13,096 – CoronaVac vaccine, 54,016 – Comirnaty vaccine, 902 – AstraZeneka, 0 – Janssen, Moderna – 4,241.

Vaccination was carried out by 1,016 mobile immunization teams, 3,205 vaccination points and 426 vaccination centers.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 3,936 persons, 236 patients died, 20,850 persons recovered. There have been conducted 154,597 testings (78,229 using the PCR method, 6,427 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 69,941).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

  • 4,462,970 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
  • 3,750,826 people recovered;
  • 102,403 people died;
  • 18,920,897 testings have been conducted.
