  • Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

    According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of September 9, in Ukraine, there have been officially confirmed 3,615 (348 children out of this number, 61 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

    The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 10,407,825 vaccines have been made.

    The number of vaccinated persons from COVID-19 from the beginning of the campaign makes up 5,789,254. On September 9, 2021, 173,615 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 42,167 - CoronaVac vaccine, 64,521 – Comirnaty vaccine,
    13,662 – AstraZeneka, Janssen – 0, Moderna – 53,305.

    Vaccination was carried out by 1,010 mobile immunization teams, 2,977 vaccination points and 337 vaccination centers.

    During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 1,056 persons, 76 patients died, 1,310 persons recovered. There have been conducted 60,981 testings (28,961 using the PCR method, 6,784 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 25,236).

    During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

    • 2,310,554 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
    • 2,218,873 people recovered;
    • 54,251 people died;
    • 12,217,031 testings have been conducted.
