Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection
According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of November 9, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 8,687 (350 children out of this number, 321 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.
During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 1,100 persons, 115 patients died, 2,277 persons recovered. There have been conducted 41,114 testing (34, 393 using the PCR method and 6,721 using the ELISA method).
During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:
- 469,018 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
- 209,143 people recovered;
- 8,565 people died;
- 3,648,292 testing have been conducted.
The largest number of confirmed cases in the last 24 hours was registered in Kyiv city (748 cases), Kharkiv region (717 cases), Zaporizhia region (683 cases), Zhytomyr region (636 cases), Kyiv region (590).
